Have Faith in God!

Through Sh. Peter Ryu’s message, we could learn about Jesus’ spiritual authority that comes through his faith in God.

At first, Jesus taught his disciples “The Lord needs it!”  – by sending them to the village where they would find a donkey that would be used for Jesus to enter Jerusalem. As the disciples did everything Jesus told them to do, they could indeed experience the people letting them take the donkey to give it to Jesus.

Through the fig tree, Jesus taught his disciples where his spiritual authority came from: From his faith in God. Jesus encouraged his disciples to have faith in God. He taught them three types of faith:

  • Mountain-Moving faith, which could even throw mountains into the sea,
  • Faith that prays so that everything we pray for will be done by God,
  • and faith that forgives.

In chapter 12, we see how Jesus repeatedly rebukes the religious leaders, and how he talks about the signs of the end ages (Chapter 13). Lastly, he admonishes his disciples to keep watch, for Jesus will come again like a thief.

Let us learn about Jesus’ faith. The seemingly unmovable mountains of these days are the mobilization of the next generation, the spiritual revival of Germany, Europe and America; or just saving one lost sheep and bringing him or her back to the bible. Is it impossible? No! By faith, through faith in the God who can throw mountains into the sea, we can put on Jesus’ spiritual authority who uses the next generation as the global spiritual leaders of this age, and who works in the US and in Germany by sending out 7000 missionaries and changing Europe to a vast army of five million prayer coworkers and 100000 Bible teachers.

Let us learn faith that prays and faith that forgives by a) faithfully praying with our prayer topics for the spiritual revival of Europe, Germany and our sheep through e.g. through daily bread.

In this way, Jesus will indeed use us and give us his spiritual authority to bring about a spiritual reawakening in these days.
